HSN Sneak Peek!

Sara Davies will be back in the US on Wednesday, October 7 for a special craft event on HSN. She’ll be featuring many of the new Die’sire Edge’ables and Create A Card embossing dies, among many other fabulous Crafter’s Companion products.

I made this Christmas tissue box using the new Die’sire Christmas Fireside Create A Card die, one of the dies that will be available on HSN October 7th.

I used Crafter’s Companion white construction cardstock to make my panels, cut and embossed the die on each panel, then inked each panel with Printworks Hunter Green ink and airbrushed it using my Spectrum Noir markers in the Craftwell eBrush using JG7 and LG5. The entire green background is eBrushed as well.

The lid was also cut from CC construction cardstock. A layer of red cardstock with the edges eBrushed using Spectrum Noir DR7 was added. On top of that I placed a Die’sire Chantilly Lace diecut, with the center making the opening for the tissue box.

Look for this sample on the HSN presentation next Wednesday! Below are showtimes for Sara’s presentations, don’t miss out!

    1. Hi Gerry, thank you for your interest in the tissue box! Here are the instructions: For the box base: Start with a piece of Crafter’s Companion construction cardstock that measures 5.75″ x 8.5″. Using the Big Score scoring board, score the 8.5″ side at 0.5″. Turn cardstock 90 degrees and score the 5.75″ side at 2.5″ (this will fold to be the box bottom). Trim out the small corner section and discard. For the lid: cut a piece of Crafter’s Companion construction cardstock 6.375″ x 6.375″. Using the Big Score, score 0.5″ on all four sides, snip one side of each 0.5″ corner score for lid folding and construction. Position and cut out the 3″ Essentials circle die from center of panel, or use a decorative die as shown in the picture and trim out for the center. I hope this helps! 🙂
