I’ve just finished coloring up this pensive fairy from the Morgan Fitzsimons Flights of Fantasy CD by Crafter’s Companion with my Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils. I love how she turned out and decided to frame her. She now sits on my desk at work. 🙂

I just love this new stamp set from Crafter’s Companion! It’s from the Spectrum Noir Sparkle EZ-mount collection, and the set is called Twit Twoo. This card was made using Crafter’s Companion Pre-scored Green Envy shimmering cardstock as the card base.
The branch stamp actually comes with a bird cage hooked onto it, but I inked up and stamped just the branch and leaves on the paper. The sentiment stamp also comes in the set.
I stamped the owl stamp on Spectrum Noir Ultrasmooth Premium White cardstock and colored it using Spectrum Noir markers EB5, TN7, TN5, and GB8. I then colored over the entire owl with Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle marker. For a fun twist, I mounted it upside down, hanging from the branch where the birdcage would have been. He’s such a hoot!
The leaves on the branch were colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Emerald Green.
Here’s an angled view to show the shimmery sparkle a little better. Such gorgeous results!

Brrrrr, we’ve had temps on the negative side this week, and I’m sooo ready for spring! But I figured since it’s still cold out, another winter card is suitable for the occasion. I used Color Focus – Yellows tutorial from the Spectrum Noir website for coloring the clothing in this digital image called “Alannah” from Whimsy Stamps. I also followed the steps of this Coloring a Dark Blue Night Sky tutorial for the background.
I have colored this adorable image with my Spectrum Noir makers. Sentiment stamp is from the Crafter’s Companion Sentimentals Greetings stamp set.
