Playing with my Spectrum Noirs in a little bit of a mixed media project today. Last weekend I went to a rubber stamp show, and at the Technique Junkies booth, they had an awesome make and take project. Using some of the techniques I learned during the make and take, I created this mixed media piece of art using my Spectrum Noir markers, some dimensional paints and some shimmer sprays. I love how this turned out!
I stamped the Vintage Daisy Collage stamp on Spectrum Noir Ultrasmooth Premium White Cardstock. The daisies, butterfly and bee bodies were colored with Spectrum Noir markers. Then I added a touch of Art Anthology dimensional paint on top of the coloring. For the background, I spritzed a variety of Perfect Pearls mists over the whole piece and then airbrushed the background with Spectrum Noir markers.
I hope you can see some of the shimmer in this close-up view. With a final coat of Art Anthology Sterling Fairy Dust shimmer spray, the whole piece shimmers and shines!
