Only a few more days until Crafter’s Companion is back on HSN with the new Colorista watercolor products! The preprinted toppers make beautiful quick and easy cards, notes, or embellishments for your scrapbook pages.
Here, I’ve used one of the toppers with the preprinted resist embossing, which magically shows the preprinted design when colored over with the Aqua pencils and markers. Tune in Wednesday August 16th to see Sara Davies demo these new papers and pencils, you won’t want to miss it!
Crafter’s Companion is coming back to HSN on Wednesday, August 16th, with some fabulously new coloring goodies in the Colorista line, and it’s all about the watercolors baby! With preprinted foil accents and embossed resist accents, the Colorista watercolor paper pads and toppers, along with the Colorista watercolor pencils, are going to be your next must-have in your coloring arsenal!
For this card, I used one of the Colorista topper pads and colored it with the new Colorista Aqua watercolor pencils. For blending with water, I used the new Crafter’s Companion water brushes, which I absolutely LOVE!! Tune in to HSN on August 16th for a day chock full of crafty goodness from Crafter’s Companion USA!
Popping in to share a beautiful card I made using the 5×7 Colorista Exquisite Florals Glitter Marker Pad. I colored this using Spectrum Noir Colorista Markers. I love how the markers blend on the glitter! There is also a tutorial on the Spectrum Noir website for how to color leaves using no-blend shading as shown here in this card. The tutorial can be found HERE.
The sentiment stamp is from the Crafter’s Companion Sentimentals Vintage Floral Phrases stamp set. The small floral and dot stamps are from Stamps By Judith and Heather.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Just popping by to share a quick card I made using one of the Spectrum Noir Colorista Background stamps, Background 3. I colored it with the Spectrum Noir Colorista colored pencils. This would also be suitable for framing, creating a journal cover, or many other crafty possibilities.
Check out the Crafter’s Companion website for more coloring goodies in the Spectrum Noir Colorista product line!
Ahh, the smell of Spring is in the air, finally! My flowers have been trying to peek through the ground for a few weeks, but a little frost and snow has delayed them, boo!
Well, the frost and snow can’t stop this flower! Hahaha!
I colored this flower from a page in the Spectrum Noir Colorista 5″x7″ Exquisite Florals coloring pad using Spectrum Noir Colorista markers, fussy cut it out and used that as the focal point of my card. I added a sparkly border using a blue Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers. Visit the Spectrum Noir website to see a tutorial on how to use the Sparkle markers to create these fun borders!

Here’s a fun way to use those Spectrum Noir Colorista coloring pages: Home Decor! There are lots of great ways you can incorporate your Colorista coloring pages into home decor, including coasters, picture frames, serving trays, and so much more!
I bought this inexpensive picture frame at the Dollar General store for just a few dollars and dressed it up with a colored piece from one of the 12×12 Colorista Exquisite Florals with Foil coloring pages, colored with Colorista markers. These pages are great for larger projects like scrapbook pages or gift boxes, but they also go along way if you trim them down to use on smaller projects.
I also made this card from the same 12×12 Colorista coloring page. I finished the edge using the Die’sire Edge’ables Floral Dance border die, which was the perfect complement to the floral coloring page.
And don’t forget that the theme for this month’s Spectrum Noir challenge is Use A Coloring Page, so if you color one up be sure to get it entered!
Wow, did 2016 go by fast or what?!? 2017 will bring lots of fun and exciting new things from Spectrum Noir, and part of that is some new challenge themes for the new year. Each month will be an Anything Goes challenge with a bonus theme for a chance to win a prize. First up, it’s Use A Coloring Page for the January theme.
I used a coloring page from Spectrum Noir Colorista In Full Bloom With Glitter coloring pad. This owl was just begging to be brought to life with some color, and I obliged with my Colorista pencils and Colorista markers (glitter areas only). The sentiment is from the Crafter’s Companion Sentimentals Vintage Floral Greetings stamp set.

Jennifer Tryon of Crafter’s Companion will be returning to the Home Shopping Network on Tuesday, January 10th, and among all the new goodies she’ll be bringing are some new sizes of Colorista coloring pads, in 6″x6″ and 12″x12″.
These new sizes are perfect for all sorts of crafty projects. Below, I have colored a page from the Colorista 12×12 Exquisite Florals coloring pad with the Colorista markers, and used my Crafter’s Companion Ultimate Tool to create a box top out of it. I used Crafter’s Companion white construction cardstock for the box base.
For this box, I made the sides measure 1.5″, which leaves a full 9″ box with plenty of room for all sorts of precious gifts. The Ultimate Tool, which will also be available during the HSN event, makes it so easy to create gift boxes in all shapes and sizes!
I used the second sheet of matching paper from the paper pad and the Ultimate Tool Springtime Sweets and Cupcake Treats embossing board to create a matching embossed tag for my gift box.
Be sure to tune in on January 10th! You don’t want to miss out on this fabulous crafty event!
