Crafter’s Companion has these fabulous new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers, and you can use them as a stand-alone coloring medium, or you can color them over the top of other coloring mediums, including, but not limited to, Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, Spectrum Noir blendable pencils and Spectrum Aqua markers. Here is my latest card I have made using the Sparkle markers as a stand-alone coloring medium.

This card features the adorable new Spectrum Noir Sparkle stamp set called Forest Friends. I have used the branch, deer and sentiment stamps from this set. The flowers and leaves are from the Sheena Douglass Perfect Partners Sweet William stamp and die sets, colored with Spectrum Noir markers.

Window Into Christmas

I managed to squeeze in one more Christmas coloring with my Spectrum Noir markers before the holiday passes by. It seems like such a short time between the time Chrsitmas decorations start getting set up to the time the holiday season is over. This one uses a lovely Christmas window stamp from the Sheena Douglass A Little Bit Festive Window into Christmas stamp set by Crafter’s Companion. The bricks that frame the sides are from Sheena’s A Little Bit Magical Enchanted Doorway stamp set.

Seasons Greetings

I just adore this Sheena Douglass candle stamp, from her A Little Bit Festive Peace stamp set, and I’ve colored it up again using my Spectrum Noir markers. I also added a few diecuts from the Sara Davies Signature Festive Wonder range from Crafter’s Companion, using the Festive Flake die and the Seasons Greetings die. The perfect touch if I do say so myself! 🙂

The snowflake dies are all cut from the Festive Wonder Festive Flake die. I have used both the inner and outer parts of the diecuts. The Seasons Greetings die is also from the Sara Davies Siganture Collection Festive Wonder range. Here, I have cut it out of red cardstock and glittered it up using Clear and Pink Garnet Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers.

Happy for You

It’s unseasonably warm here for late December, much more like spring time, so I thought I’d make a springy card using this cute Die’sire Embossalicious embossing folder called Cherry-licious.

I embossed it on Spectrum Aqua watercolor cardstock and then colored the embossing with my Spectrum Aqua watercolor markers. Sentiment stamp is from the Crafter’s Companion Sentimentals Vintage Floral Greetings stamp set, and the backer for the sentiment was cut using the Die’sire Essentials Dies Scalloped Squares die set

I also used my Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers to add a shimmery touch to the cherries, leaves and sentiment.

Coloring Candles with Spectrum Noir Markers

Snowflake Box Card

I had a lot of fun using my Crafter’s Companion Big Score scoring board and a few different Crafter’s Companion dies for this quick and easy Christmas card.

I used the Die’sire Edge’ables Christmas Fancy Borders Snowflake border die for the left and right sides of the card window. Behind this is a piece of Crafter’s Companion heat resistant clear acetate to create the window.

The inset background was created by using the Sara Davies Signature Collection Festive Wonder Festive Flake diecut as a mask for airbrushing a background using my Spectrum Noir markers  (TB5, TB4, TB3, TB1) in my Craftwell eBrush. The Die’sire Classiques Christmas Only Words Peace, Goodwill & Joy diecut was used for the words on the inside of the card.

 

 

Spectrum Noir December challenge

 

The December challenge is on over at Spectrum Noir. The theme for this month is “Clean and Simple”, which is right up my alley!

For my challenge inspiration card, I used the large flower stamp from the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Floral Delights EZ-Mount stamp set and colored it with the new Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers. The “Just for you…” sentiment is from the Crafter’s Companion Sentimentals Greetings stamp set.

A Birthday Song

Sharing another adorable card for Crafter’s Companion made featuring “Jessica“, one of the Angelica and Friends stamps from Crafter’s Companion, colored with Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils.

I stamped the image onto Spectrum Aqua watercolor cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The edge was inked with Blue Iris Colorbox Liquid Chalk, and then the image was mounted to a piece of Crafter’s Companion Black Pearl shimmering cardstock. For added dimension,  I trimmed the bird and birdcage out of a piece of DCWV patterned paper and tucked the image behind the bird to make the bird pop out.

A little touch of Clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle glitter brush was added to the wings and bottom of dress for some added shimmer.

The sentiment, “A Birthday Song” is from the Angelica and Friends “Grace” stamp set.

Crafter’s Companion Ultimate Tool was used for card scoring and folding.

Love Me Do

Our eldest son has blessed us with the addition of a daughter (his bride) to our family. I hope they loved this card as much as I loved making it for them!

To begin, I used my Crafter’s Companion Big Score scoring board to score and fold this gatefold card. The image of the bride and groom is a digital stamp called Love Me Do by Wee Stamps. I have colored it using my Spectrum Noir markers. For the fancy border across the top of the card I used the Die’sire Edge’ables Doily Lattice border die, embossed and inked with Ranger Archival Magenta Hue ink. The card title “On Your Special Day” was created using the Die’sire Edge’ables Only Words die, backed with red cardstock and blinged up with some Stickles glitter glue. Butterfly diecuts were cut from Crafter’s Companion White Pearl and Candy Red shimmering cardstock using the Die’sire Classiques Delicate Butterfly die. The butterfly shading was added using my Craftwell eBrush and Spectrum Noir markers DR7 and BP7.
