I just love this Flutterby character from the new Verity Rose collection at Crafter’s Companion! She just seems so dainty and care-free and brings such a calming feeling just looking at her! I’ve created this cute K-card using my Crafter’s Companion Ultimate Tool, and the image is colored with Spectrum Noir markers.

Verity Rose Collection at Crafter’s Companion

The new Verity Rose collection at Crafter’s Companion US is a wonderful 1920’s style collection with a modern twist, and is perfect for all of your card making and paper crafting projects. The collection offers several fun characters, each of which has matching accessory stamps and dies available, along with coordinating paper pad, elegant embossing folders, dies and also a papercrafting CD-ROM. Patriotism is in the Air!

In the US, we celebrate our country’s independence on July 4th with a wide variety of activities, including parades, carnivals, cookouts, and, of course, fireworks! Crafter’s Companion has some great patriotic stamp sets to help you prepare for your activities, from creating cards or table decor, to scrapbooking all of those precious holiday memories.

Here, I’ve created a fun scrapbook layout using stamps from both the Independence Day stamp set and the 4th of July stamp set. I’ve colored the images using my Spectrum Noir markers.

Now all I need to do is snap a couple cute pics of my granddaughter this 4th of July, add them my scrapbook page, and tuck it away in my scrapbook of treasured memories.

Here I’ve used the mixed media dies to cut some chipboard from a potato chip snack pack box. Can’t wait to use them along with these new Leonie Pujol stamps (also coming to HSN July 6th) on my next project!

Gemini Diecutting machine coming to HSN

The long-awaited-for Gemini diecutting machine from Crafter’s Companion will be making its US debut on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) on Wednesday July 6th.  But the package not only contains an AMAZING diecutting machine, it also contains a fabulous bundle of dies and embossing folders to get you started.

Gemini Sneak Peek!

It’s almost here!! The new electronic diecutting machine from Crafter’s Companion, a.k.a. the Gemini, will be available soon!! I’ve had the pleasure of playing with this machine and I am in love!! The pressure this machine cuts with is top notch, and I’m getting much better embossing results with the Gemini than my other electronic diecutting machine. And this machine has pause and reverse buttons too! The reverse button is a great enhancement because if you are only cutting a small die or two or three, you can line them up at one end, run the plate sandwich through just far enough for the dies, then reverse it back out so you aren’t waiting for it to run all the way through. The challenge is on!

Spectrum Noir has their June challenge posted, the theme this month is Use a Die. For my challenge inspiration, I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color up this beautiful Sunbeam stamp from the Verity Rose collection (currently available in the UK and at HSN in the US, coming soon the the Crafter’s Companion US website). I paired the image with a Sheena Douglass die from the Hedgerow Corner die set (it kind of reminded me of seaweed) and then added the sentiment with the Die’sire Classiques Only Words Cherish Every Moment die.

Just For Men

Having trouble finding the perfect coordinating crafty goods for creating cards for teen boys or men? Sara Davies of Crafter’s Companion is bringing a new range to her Signature Collection, called Just For Men. This set is a wonderful collection of coordinating dies, stamps, embossing folders and paper pads to help you craft something special for the special men in your life, and it will be available on the Crafter’s Companion website on Monday, June 6, 2016.

For this card, I have combined a patterned paper from one of the 6″x6″ paper pads in the collection along with the Time Piece embossing folder, the Cogs and Gears die set and the Male Sentiments die set (“Dad” used here, many more are in the set).
