Spectrum Aqua Watercolor Home Decor Tutorial

It’s been awhile since I played with my Spectrum Aqua watercolor markers, so I decided it was time to bring them out for a little play.

The US recently celebrated International Day of Forests, and these nature stamps from the Sheena Douglass A Little Bit Sketchy A Sheltering Tree and Lakeside Shore stamp sets are perfect for creating a beautiful scene. I put together a quick tutorial on how I created the scene, colored it using my Spectrum Aqua markers, and re-purposed a wall hanging from a discount store into a beautiful home decor piece. Be sure to check it out!

Spring has Sprung!

Ahh, the smell of Spring is in the air, finally! My flowers have been trying to peek through the ground for a few weeks, but a little frost and snow has delayed them, boo!

Well, the frost and snow can’t stop this flower! Hahaha!

I colored this flower from a page in the Spectrum Noir Colorista 5″x7″ Exquisite Florals coloring pad using Spectrum Noir Colorista markers, fussy cut it out and used that as the focal point of my card. I added a sparkly border using a blue Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers. Visit the Spectrum Noir website to see a tutorial on how to use the Sparkle markers to create these fun borders!
